Available funds
We manage a range of loan funds throughout the UK, and currently have around £4million available to lend. Our staff will be glad to advise on the availability of specific funds and the most suitable forms of finance for your business.
Eligibility
We will only invest in co-operatives, employee owned businesses and social enterprises that are economically viable. Each enterprise must be able to demonstrate the ability to pay interest and repay the capital on any agreed loan finance.
Applications are welcome from:
- Those starting a co-operative, employee owned business or social enterprise
- Those who are seeking to expand a co-operative, employee owned business or social enterprise
- Those wishing to take over an existing business and convert it to a co-operative or social enterprise. This may be where a business would otherwise close or be sold to a third party.
All types of social enterprise are able to apply to us, including co-operatives, community businesses, development trusts and businesses developed from the charitable and voluntary sector.
All will have an appropriate from of employee or community ownership.
Ecosulis is an employee co-op that offers expert services in ecological surveys, environmental impact assessment, and mitigation and monitoring, supported by finance from Co-operative & Community Finance.
